Creating the education timeline in EDEF 3100 was a task that pushed me outside my comfort zone as it was the first I had to reflect on my journey. Before creating this I did not put much thought into how school shaped me or the influences different teachers had. But in creating it I had to reflect on what went well, where teachers failed me and why what moments truly impacted me. I am so grateful that I got the chance to reflect on those who impacted me and influenced my decision to become a teacher. It is crazy to think one day a student might be writing about how I impacted their academic journey and why I did.
